How to remove and replace the glove box door on a right hand drive (RHD) Skoda Octavia MKIII (2013 onwards).
Great video! can you please make a video how to remove the plastic trim around the radio for Octavia III (2014) ?
We need more videos like this. I fully understand and appreciate the difficulty of holding three things with two hands. Thank you for persevering and sharing this guide. You have my thumbs up!
Cheers man…really helpful!
Rick Thanks for this video. It saved me £'s and a 50mile round trip to a Skoda Garage. You are a star.
Rick-couldn't have done this without your video. Couldn't fathom the manual. Why didn't they leave these fuses where they used to be.Thank you very much indeed!
this was driving me crazy. Thanks
Thanks for the vid. Whoever designed this system at Skoda wants shooting.
Nice one mate really good can you make a video on how to replace octavia dashboard glass please thanks
Thanks for the comments. Hard to hold that camera while wielding a screwdriver and torch 🙂
Dash cam wiring is my next job. I've extended the live 12V from the fuse box to a pair of 12V sockets in the little cubby hole next to the driver's knee. From there I'll be running a USB cable up the right side door aperture (under the rubber seal if I can) and across under the edge of the roof lining to the mirror where the dash cam sits.
I doubt I'll be able to film it though as it's going to be a lot of trial and error and 2 hands very full.
Once that's done the other socket will feed the Satnav which is mounted on the centre air vents above the Infotainment unit. I could simple drop a USB cable to the USB port just in front of the gear stick but then I'll lose my traffic data. Jury's still out on how to do that one without wires showing everywhere!
Good luck with yours. Nice cars and well built despite a few negative comments and minor niggles, but that's the internet for you.
Nice video, I have a new octavia on order and am planning dash cam install, your video really helped. Do you have any more on the actual routing of wiring up the pillar, or any advice… Cheers
