New Mercedes-Benz CLS 2012 Design and Making of Video
Video Rating: / 5
These "lets pretend we are doing something" videos are so lame… From the guy pretending to sketch in the beginning, which he is clearly just going with the pencil back and forth in lines already drawn (if you see, the drawing was already signed, which usually means it was finished).
And then the chief designer pretending to look at the model and the whole "oh yeah, that´s great, yeah yeah" and finally those two guys around the 3 models and then jump into a COMPLETED PRODUCTION CAR… To put some fake adjustment tape line pretending to do a fake adjustment work… They didn´t even showed the clay modelling process. Lame lame lame.
it's a Crock of shit , that' what it is !just compare it with the one it replaces , ever since 2010 , they're haven't been a single mercedes benz car that could actually impress me , where did the people who made CLS and SLR go ???
new mercedes benz cars look very shallow immature , unbaked , with lots of pointless details and ity bity pieces on their body just to make it catch attention immediately ,ridiculous headlights , massive radiator grills , Fat body shape inspired by Penis ! (yeah Penis !!!) ,very reserved and unattractive faces , too much curves or too much lines , too much details and complications .
they're gaudy , empty , Lackluster and excessively complicated and look like as if a 9 year old had designed them, just like Hyundai , sadly this what some people today consider as "MODERN" !!!
Mercedes Benz is following the same designing principals as Hyundai these days , and that's what's wrong with them , they think every one has an awful taste and are in love with cars such as Hyundai because of their looks !!! not because they''re affordable and they don't break down and are quite valuable for their price .
2005 Mercedes Benz CLS was the top point of Mercedes Designing in my opinion and they've been on a downhill ever since….
it is funny when everybody gives their 'professional' comments. hahahaha. i thinks this design is definitely better than the legend u were talking about (w124 e500) . hahahah that w124 looks like a box, i think they were taking hubert lee as the chief because to give the mercedes a new fresh design rather that a 'box' german design that is so boring. hahahahaha
the tail lamps look great but the facia looks awkward…looking forward to the next cls
they cant draw!bad,really bad!
If you like the car sketch i have a channel of that!! view it!!
draw something that already been signatured?? really?
This video is kinda stupid. He is putting a tape line on the actual produced model and is discussing over it? The shit is already designed, it's not a clay model dumbass! They act so fake
I'm korean student eagering to be a cardesigner of mercedes.Thank you hubert Lee for being my role model! I will be like you in mercedes by doing my best…
this korean designer had also designed the new merc benz amg vision gran truismo and it has the best deign ever!
the italians are the greatest designers in the world so i;m completely agree with that but i don't like people out of europe do designe europian vehicles 🙂
If I'm not wrong the model you indicate as "a legend" was developed when the Mercedes design director was Bruno Sacco. He was italian, not german. Sorry for that.
Please excuse me for my indelicate question to you : how much do you get paid working at this company MB car designer?
It doesn't matter where he is from. What matters is the design, and his designs are great and setting some trends!
This guy is a Genious.
It does matter where the designer come from, not heavily matter, but it does. Because he's from Korean, in his designs still have some st "asian", you see?
This is the "making of video" which showed "Merc CLS 2012 design". The real commercial scenes will be put together later.
no offense but asian design dont go with european engineering i think … this is overcombinated
he is not chinese… he is a korean american working in Germany
The designer for Mercedes Benz CLS 2012 from Asia..GO ASIA..
